Charter Options & Ideas
We have a variety of sailing packages that we’ve cooked up because, well, they’re what we like to do. The s/v Alchemy offers everything from half day charters to multi-day island excursions. But really, we’re all about you — if you’ve got the ideas, we can offer up the vessel and sailing know-how.
Day Charters
Get out onto the clear blue pacific and treat yourself to the ultimate Southern California experience. Half Day and Full day charters for up to six of your favorite people. Coastal beach sail, Paradise Cove in Malibu for a swim and BBQ, surf and snorkel trip to the cove, a sail around Palos Verdes for stunning views of Catalina? There is no better way to spend a day.
Overnights
Whether you want to load up your boards and go search for uncharted waves or simply pick up a mooring and have a romantic evening swinging on a local mooring with your honey we have you covered. Get in touch and lets put together an experience that will last a lifetime.
Catalina Escapes
Catalina. just a short day sail from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles lies on of the most beautiful and tranquil places on this planet. Why fly half way around the world to the Caribbean or the Greek Islands when we have a treasure just as incredible right here in our backyard. And to experience it aboard Alchemy will take you to a time and place you’ll want to stay forever.
Channel Islands Adventures
Do you need some adventure in your life? Then look no further. Lying just off the coast of Santa Barbara are some of the most epic and remote islands you’ll find. World class hiking, surfing, diving, fishing, lounging. However keep in mind that these islands are exposed to the weather and you must be ready for a proper adventure… one that will leave you planning your return the second you get home.
Weddings & Elopements
2020 has presented some serious challenges for our friends out there that were in the process of planning their wedding. That’s why we’re so excited to now offer elopement packages for up to 6 people aboard the s/v Alchemy. Packages include optional photographers, florists and videographers, and even a Zoom live-stream — to take those lemons and turn your wedding into a one-of-a-kind day you will surely never forget.
Lobster Fishing
Southern California. We don’t have your typical seasons. We have Lobster Season. From October thru March come out and experience what the hype is all about. However, as is our thing, we do things a little differently aboard Alchemy.
Surf Trips
Searching for empty waves while sailing the California coast on a beautiful classic sailboat. What else is there to say? From day surf trips to Palos Verdes Cove to multi day adventures to Santa Cruz Island and the Ranch we can make it happen. One word of warning… once you experience surfing like this, you won’t be able to go back. Get in touch and lets go find some waves.
Sailing Instruction
When it comes down to it Geoff is a teacher at heart and his teaching medium is a sailboat and the sea. Alchemy has been set up as a proper bluewater passagemaker and for those of you looking to expand your sailing knowledge beyond what you can get in a traditional sailing school, you will find no better option than joining Geoff on a multi day instructional voyage along the rugged California Coast.
