Are you ready to really experience what sailing is all about? Step aboard and take off on a voyage that you won’t be able to stop thinking about for years to come. Alchemy is a throwback to a bygone era when things were simple. This is why we voyage on sailboats after all isn’t it? Southern California offers incredible diversity as to the adventures we can go on. Catalina is absolutely gorgeous and as relaxing as it gets. Only a 26 mile sail away but you will swear you were lost on your favorite island in the Caribbean. The Channel Islands are rugged and remote - a true adventure - with world class surf, diving, fishing, and one of the worlds largest sea caves. We can even keep things simple - a short sail to a nearby harbor where we’ll pick up a mooring and leave you and your honey alone for the evening to enjoy a dinner by the glow of the brass oil lamp and a romantic evening on a gently rocking boat. No matter what you decide on, your morning coffee as you gaze out over the anchorage watching the world come to life… the best of your life.
Alchemy is a simple boat by design and that is part of what makes her so special. You will not have ensuite heads and showers will be solar. Or ashore. The toilet is of the composting variety. She has three single berths and one large double with an outdoor cockpit that can be converted to a stargazing double. This makes her luxurious for two, comfortable for four, and cozy for six. If you require luxury hotel accommodations and long hot showers every day, staying aboard might not be your cup of tea. We do however have shoreside hotel options that make for an equally amazing time. This is not to say that she is not comfortable, quite the contrary. She is a vessel that encourages you to take a step back in time and appreciate the important things in life. She takes you back to a day when living a little simpler made life vastly richer. Through the site we have curated some of our favorite destinations but if you have an idea of something new and unique we would be stoked to make it happen.

Overnight & Multi-Day Charters
The Gist & Basic Rates
When we start opening the doors to overnight and multi-day sailing adventures the options become limitless and this is a good thing. This is why we sail - we can go anywhere and do anything. Weather dependent of course. We can go for one night or two weeks. Catalina or Cabo. While we have tried to share some example ideas and things we have done and love doing, we enjoy nothing more than working with you to create an experience that you truly will cherish for a lifetime. Rates stated are inclusive of the boat and captain. You may provision with food and beverages yourself or we can take the reigns for an fully all inclusive adventure. Catalina trips can accommodate up to six in fair summer weather but for any trips to the Channel Islands or beyond we limit ourselves to four passengers.

Notes for All Charters
All of our charters are limited to 1-6 passengers by the Coast Guard. All safety equipment will be provided. You are welcome to bring any food or beverage you like although we ask you leave the red wine at home as it will stain Alchemy’s beautiful teak decks. We are also happy to provide amazing food and beverages at our cost. Los Angeles county charges a 6% surcharge for every charter that we must charge for in addition to our charter rates. Gratuity although of course not obligatory is greatly appreciated if you find the service and experience exceptional. The industry norm is 15-20%
