The Yacht “Alchemy”

In a day and age when the world is becoming ever more insulated from the fundamental experiences of the natural world, Alchemy brings us back to a time when simplicity and connection with our surroundings were the things of importance. She is a 36’ Cape George Cutter hand built in Port Townsend, Washington along the lines of the famed naval architect William Atkins. Her graceful yet salty lines are beautiful to admire and with one look it is clear that this was a boat designed to sail anywhere in the world swiftly and safely.

She is simple and purposeful. Comfortable yet cozy. With solid teak decks running her length from her wood bowsprit to her shapely wineglass transom she is a sailors boat. If you are looking for private staterooms with ensuite air conditioning and ensuite TV’s she’s probably not for you. (She’s more of a sit around the fireplace and play cards under the glow of the oil lamps with a cocktail kind of boat) If however you’re looking to take a step away from the busyness and chaos of life and embrace a timeless experience of simplicity and freedom, there’s no better platform.
