Alchemy Surf Adventures
Ditch the 405 traffic and come surround yourself with dolphins, whales, a clean pacific breeze and a few of your favorite people aboard the good ship Alchemy. Maybe even sip on a cold cocktail or two. Combine the normal day-to-day chaos of Los Angeles with all of the insanity in the world today - COVID, politics, raging wildfires, country wide protests - there has never been a better time to take a step back, sail off into the sunset, and remind yourself that that in spite of all this, the world still is a beautiful and inspiring place. We can set sail for as little as four hours or spend the entire day exploring this beautiful little corner of the planet.
Whether you want to simply head out with your family for a sunset sail, treat your coworkers to a day out of the office, sail to Malibu for some swimming and a BBQ, or head South to Palos Verdes surfing and snorkeling, we’ve got you covered. Take a look through some of our featured charter ideas below for some inspiration but if there is anything you can think of, we can make it happen. Wedding proposals, paddle board race chase boat, corporate sails, fishing trips, photo shoots, the list goes on… It could be said that we’ve done it all but the possibilities really are endless and we’re just getting started. What’s your dream? Get in touch today and lets make it happen!
“Who knew you could sail to a remote Island so close to home to surf empty waves with a couple of my best friends. Surfing will never be the same. Will just have to do it again!!”

California Surf Charters aboard Alchemy
What to Expect
Every surf charter aboard Alchemy is individually tailored and unique. Factors such as your skill level, length of charter, weather, and swell all play a major role in what our goal will be. You will need to provide your own surfboards and wetsuits, however, we can assist in finding and picking up rental equipment for you. As is part of surfing there is no guarantee that we will find waves or that the waves will be within your skill range. We do guarantee that you will have an amazing time no matter what happens.
Standard charter rates apply.
Etiquette
When we access surf breaks by boat is is exceptionally important that we maintain the upmost respect in regards to surf etiquette. You may find yourself the only person in the line up or you may find yourself in a competitive crowd of local surfers who would probably rather you not be there. Showing respect and abiding by the rules of surfing are super important. If there are crowds we will rotate and stagger our sessions as to not overwhelm the lineup with a sudden influx of a boat load of surfers.

Notes for All Charters
All of our charters are limited to 1-6 passengers by the Coast Guard. All safety equipment will be provided. You are welcome to bring any food or beverage you like although we ask you leave the red wine at home as it will stain Alchemy’s beautiful teak decks. We are also happy to provide amazing food and beverages at our cost. Los Angeles county charges a 6% surcharge for every charter that we must charge for in addition to our charter rates. Gratuity although of course not obligatory is greatly appreciated if you find the service and experience exceptional. The industry norm is 15-20%
